Training Tip of the Month
July 2003 Training Tip
This month, we’ll start a series of tips for trainers, presenters and meeting facilitators, whether full time or “incidental.” These tips have been learned, usually the hard way, over nearly 20 years of experience. I hope they save you some time and aggravation.
Use blue painter’s tape (I use the 3M brand) to hang flipcharts around the meeting room or classroom. Though a bit expensive, blue painter’s tape has lots of advantages:
- It peels off any surface easily
- It’s lots less expensive than sticky backed flipchart pads
- It will not damage paint or wallpaper, even fancy wallpaper
- It takes no time at all to tear down flipcharts mounted with blue painter’s tape, especially if you remember to use the tape vertically, not horizontally or diagonally.
